Tonight Erin and I were talking about the way God has encouraged us over the past few weeks. Over the past couple of months of speaking in churches and being at missions conferences we have really been encouraged by the people that have been praying with us and also when for us regularly. Just seeing the people that God has brought into our lives as ministry partners and friends has been amazing. Even tonight as we were at church and found out how our regular Sunday school class was praying for us as we were in WV this weekend at Erin’s home church. We are truly humbled, blessed, and encouraged. God is good…

staycation
This is vacation week for Erin and I. Although rather than going on a big trip it’s actually a working staycation. We have a ton of projects to get done around the house. After the swamped incident on Friday one of the projects is installing a new toilet. I think I found a good one at Home Depot and Lowe’s that I am going to get tomorrow. Hopefully that will solve a lot of our problems. Also I am praying for sunny weather this week as I need at least one sunny day to get yard work done. We have a ton of mowing and weed eating to get done. With my schedule I’ve been doing different parts of the yard at different times. I hope to now get the opportunity to get it all done at once so that everything is nice and neat and even. The last major project I have is that I have to clean all of my stuff out of my office so that we can begin the process of making it into a nursery. Hopefully we can get all that done and have things looking sharp when I head back to the Rec!
swamped…literally
Today has been an interesting morning. I woke up bright and early and left home to go buy some snack supplies for the Rec Center. On my drive I called Erin to find out that our toilet which has given us problems on and off for years now finally caused a big big problem. It backed up and then kept pouring water into the bowl overflowing into our whole bathroom, into the hall way, and finally leaking into our basement. Very very frustrating….
Thankfully we have an unfinished basement so no drywall or drop ceiling damage was there to do. The bad news is we now have to figure out why the toilet was backing up and also get a new toilet that doesn’t constantly want to run water into the bowl. Saving the tax refund once again seems to be getting to be a dream..

sharing our ministry…
With the baby on the way Erin and I have been trying to get into various churches and also meet with individuals to share about our ministry and hopefully create ministry partners. By ministry partners, I mean we are trying to develop ministry partners that with either join us in prayer for the minstry here, possibly coming to help out physically, and if the Lord allows even partnering with us financially.
Last weekend we had the opportunity to share with a church in Cleveland getting both the chance to share with old and new friends. Coming up soon we will be sharing with Erin’s home church and also with some other churches. While working on support sometimes feels daunting I really do enjoy getting to share about the ministry here, especially with those who don’t really know about KMM. It’s been awesome to see the way God connects us with so many people within His family.
If you are interested in Erin and I coming to share with you individually or as a church we would love to do so!
