I’m sorry this will be a short blog, but just wanted to send a quick note asking for prayers. This week at the Rec Center we are getting ready for an open house event at the Rec Center, hanging a new bowling scoring system, and tons of other things. I’m also trying to get donations for our Golf Scramble and some how trying to get my yard mowed too. Please just pray for strength and energy this week and that I will keep a good Christ-centered attitude too! Also pray that in the next few months that God would send some more full time help to the Rec Center. Thanks so much!!

rough morning, but still seeing God’s blessing…
This was definitley a rough morning. It started with the alarm going off to wake me to get ready for FCA huddle at the high school, way earlier than I had desired to wake up.
Finally we arrived at FCA and only two students came today both of whom were late and so we really couldn’t even do a lesson with them. We were able to talk with them about ways to hopefully attract new students and hopefully some old students back to FCA in the Fall.
Arriving back at home Erin went downstairs to switch some laundry over only to find out that our dryer had given up the ghost (it’s over 20 years old) and in it’s departure decided to ruin one of my best dress shirts and a set of sheets. Immediately we both got a little depressed as we saw the majority of our tax return going right out the window to the appliance store.
However, I decided rather than panic I would call my dad at camp and see if the camp had any old dryers. Turns out someone had just donated an old dryer to KMM and we can hook it up tomorrow. I hate to admit it but at that moment both Erin and I teared up a little bit. With all the stress of the morning and several other stressful issues going on that we have faced lately we were beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed and helpless. It was awesome to see though that God had provided for us before we even knew that we need it. It’s always great to have those reminders that He is definitley in control of all!
