nerves…

Tomorrow morning I get to go to the doctor for minor procedure to try and figure out the cause of some health issues I have been having lately.  While I haven’t been nervous about things too much, I can’t say that tonight.   Just with all that I have read about the procedure itself and hearing about other people who have gone in for minor things lately only to find out about major problems, I must say as I sit hear tonight I am feeling nervous.

The good news is that I know I have a God who is bigger than any uncomfortable procedure or any diagnosis that it may lead to.   The words of Psalms 37 keep coming to mind of “be still and know that I am God.”  That’s where I am finding myself currently, knowing that I have to take rest and comfort in the fact that God is God and He is totally in control.

t-shirt screenprinting…

As many of you know I have been taking shirt and hat orders over the past few years for Central Kentucky Screenprinting.  It’s been a great way to make a little extra money to help with expenses.   Due to various circumstances I haven’t been getting as many orders in the past few months and part of that is my fault due to just being busy with other areas of life and not really advertising.  However, I want to let everyone know that I am still selling for Central Kentucky Screenprinting and would love to help you, your team, or organization with any promotional needs you may have!   Especially with baby #2 on the way!  So if you need anything please let me know if nothing else it would be great to at least have the opportunity to give you a quote and answer any questions!

super bowl party outreach…

This year we are once again having our annual Super Bowl outreach part at the Rec Center.  This is a really great outreach where we have students and adults in to watch the game and then at half time we watch a dvd rather than the normal halftime show.  The dvd we watch is provided by Sports Spectrum magazine and this year has four current NFL stars sharing their testimonies and all that Christ has done and is doing in their lives.   If you live in our area and can make it I really think you would enjoy this outreach party, and its a great way to introduce someone you are wanting to reach for Christ to the Gospel.  I hope you can make it!

seeing my son…

Today I took Erin to her bi-weekly baby check up and since Judah has been measuring big they had her undergo another ultrasound today. So, i got to see my son again! Judah is already weighing over 5 lbs and is on track to weight between 9 and 10 lbs. Dr. Smith assures us that we are still on target for our c-section date of March 19th, but we’ll see. I can’t wait to meet Judah!

baby registry…
